At the Kidd Candy Store. $172.00. It's still sitting out on my kitchen counter where I can see it. Precious, indeed!

For almost reasonable price, can get factory trigger group/bolt. Then look at Kidd or Volquartsen.

I’m 1/2 way there, went with brownell’s receiver.

What's really hard to find are pistol length threaded barrels. Kidd are the only ones I've found

Search for Ruger Charger barrels - several places (other than Kidd) show 10" or under in stainless.

I thought they were all 10 inch.. I really want a 6-8 inch threaded non heavy barrel. I'll check it out, thanks!

You can do the exact same thing by ordering an AR-15 complete lower and having it sent to your FFL, then ordering a complete upper and having it sent to your home. The FFL does an instant NICS check for a Frame or Receiver, and you take it home to couple it with your completed upper. The problem is that Turd Ferguson has been informed of this loop hole in I-1639.

I've heard that the way a 10/22 barrel attaches is....less than ideal. Any reason to purchase an expensive one?
