I noticed that the little dot on my Rem-Dri in my safe had turned pink, indicating it needed to be replaced or recharged. Recharging sounded fairly easy if time consuming, 200 F for two hours in an oven. I had time today to see it through that drying cycle, so I did it. At the other end of the 2 hours, the dot is still pink, I'm wondering if that's a one time warning, and the dot never resets with the heat. Anyone know? I'm certain the desiccant is dry on the inside of the bag, so I'm going to put it back in my safe.
Anyone have a different experience, or advice? It seems pretty simple to do, so it's hard to screw it up, or so it seems.

I haven't used them in a while but if I remember right, the dot did change back. I switched to the style that you plug in to dry out and like them better.

I gave up on the dehumidifiers you have to bake. The Eva-Dry ones you plug in are so much easier to deal with.
Just don’t drop them because they will break and the mess is a huge pain to clean up.
