They told us that NICS wad so inundated with requests that they were totally unable to even access it on the 21st and that every NICS check they were sending in, were getting delays. They said it was due to the boom in sales nation wide.

I wasn't surprised by it, since they were up front about it. Still a 2+ hour round trip, that I gotta make twice now, but it is what it is at this point.

I purchased a handgun from Federal Way Discount Guns on Friday, March 27. They wrote a pick-up date of April 15 on the receipt. I got a proceed call from them today, April 8.

Just got one back from Bellevue PD. Faxed it Saturday the 4th and they faxed the proceed back to me at 11:05 p.m on the 7th!
