Id stick with something fairly tried and true if it were me. https://www.luckygunner.com/labs/self-defense-ammo-ballistic-tests/I dont know about that one at your first link but the second link strikes me as bullshit gimmick ammo like the G2R RIP ammo.

I've used a bunch of the Lehigh bullets. Their "Defense" bullets are better than the "Penetrator", and are actually pretty good. I think they made a mistake in putting the "Extreme" label on these because it sounds like a marketing gimmick, but they're not.
If you don't load your own, get the loaded ammo from Underwood instead of direct from Lehigh.

I don’t care how much it penetrates, kicks, or anything else that’s subjecting or otherwise measured. All I want to know is if anyone here is using either of the factory made ammo and if they are using it in a traditional 1911 barrel. Yondering wrote: I've used a bunch of the Lehigh bullets. I got a box of the Civil Defense as part of a trade a while back. I ran some rounds through a Ruger 1911 and a XDM full size with zero issues. If I ever were to come across a deal on some, I would buy a few boxes.

If you don't load your own, get the loaded ammo from Underwood instead of direct from Lehigh. So you’re using the bullets and loading your own? Both. I've used Underwood's loads and loaded my own. What exactly are you trying to find out, if you don't care how they perform? Just whether they'll cycle, or what?

A potential customer has specified that the pistol must work with the specified ammo.
