I have been following this guy for a few years and have always admired him and his knowledge. I kinda figured he would be a prick in real life as he seems smart as can be and always has people with lots of cool guy credibility on his channel. Wouldn't you know it he's actually a cool guy and super humble. I was only able to talk to him for a min or two as he was busy with paperwork at the gun store and I had to be getting to go to a Dr appointment. I knew he was local to western Washington but I didn't know he was super local to me. Anyway his name is Mike also known on his YouTube channel as garand thumb and he has some good shit on his YouTube channel one of my favorites is when he did an extreme cold test on more than a couple of guns.

Been watching his channel for years. Knew he was in WA, just didn't know it was western WA. Small world.

I'd heard spokane for some reason, but yes he is a NW guy, doesnt his family do gun related stuff(own a range or training, i cant remember?)
Actually we probably shouldnt reply with businesses, like i asked about. PS if he is on here... I have some bm59 garands's on italian receivers that i need to send off to shuffs to get built, if you want to run or even torture test them(within reason) you are welcome to when i finally get them back |

Makes sense he's near McChord but I too assumed he might have moved further afield. Sounds like we might lose him to ID soon based on his recent interview with Haley, he's putting together a training operation over there that sounds quite interesting. Very much looking forward to learning more about it.
