I got to take my new sig out on Sunday and what a disappointment. I shot that thing really well but it did not shoot good at all. Out of 6 magazines I only had one shoot without issue. All other magazines had at least one FTE. I called Sig this morningo and I’m going to send it in so we will see what happens. I know a lot of people may say it’s an ammo issue but I idon’t really buy that. All of my other pistol eat everything. And that’s why I bought this pistol. In my opinion all quality striker pistol should eat it all.
I say all that to ask if any else has had an issue like this. And if you have what did you do about it. Or if you have not but you can offer good advice for what I should do moving forward.

When you say "new", do you mean brand-new-in-the-box "new"? If so, I wonder if it needed a good cleaning and proper lubrication prior to shooting. If not brand new, were the mags clean? My P320 ate everything I fed it and was very accurate. Sorry I can't offer any other suggestions atm.

Just for clarification and background...
How much shooting have you done on a pistol (semi)?
Did you have someone else shoot it with same issues?
One factor I have found and this is not meant as an insult - just clarity for those reading... is that newer folks to semi can limp wrist which would hinder the action of a semi to reload or cycle the next round.
Please note - I have personally instructed several hundred people over my short tenure as an instructor. Even very experienced “gun guys” shooting a different discipline is basically a new shooter. Revolver shooter to semi or rifle to handgun, etc etc...
I have several 320’s

Yeah, kinda what was said above:
- Make sure it's cleaned and lubed. You can't trust a brand-new gun to function reliably if you haven't cleaned it. - Make sure you're not limp-wristing. - What kind of ammo? Factory ammo? - Beyond that, if you want to troubleshoot yourself, I think you'll need to give us more details about what exactly it's doing.

My first outing with my now gone M18, I bought a box of the RBS reman crap that Glacier Gun Club had on the shelf. Out of 10 rounds, it was able to cycle three. I gave them the rest back and then tried it with Remington range stuff and never had another hiccup.

My 9mm xcarry eats anything.
My 40sw p320 had lots of problems. I may give up on it. It shoots 357 great (with a barrel swap). But in 40sw it repeatedly stove pipes.
Can you post pictures of the FTE? Where is it getting stuck? Was it stovepiping? Double feeding?
Then since you're sending to SIG let us know what they conclude.

I have fired it barely holding on with my finger tips, I have done my best spaghetti impression. I have held it over my head gangster style and no matter what I do it eats everything. Modern polymer strikers shouldn't need breaking in, and shouldn't care how you hold them. His gun has an issue.

Agreed on the break-in; in my earlier comment I was referring to an uncleaned gun straight out of the box. Cleaned and lubed, they should run. Limp-wristing is a real thing, though. I see it with students all the time.

I have a few other polymer pistol and none of them have issues so it’s not limp wrist. Sig should get it Monday.

Just curious if you got a response from SIG yet and what the issue was?
