Except for the removable solar panel, you're right.

They also say assembled in the U.S. How much you want to bet that means they screw on the turret caps here, or some other such minor task that allows such a claim?

Could mean anything. Leatherman had to take the made in USA label off their packaging because someone sued when they found out that the bolts they used to hold their multitools together were of unknown origin since they sourced that part out. Their blades, handles and tools were made in Oregon, but that didn't matter. My guess is that the circuit boards and glass are foreign born since there is absolutely no quality glass manufacturer in the states anymore anyway. I think even Leopold even gets their glass from Europe or may have the only domestic source. So take from that what you will, it's downright difficult to make something in this country 100% and still remain profitable. I like made in the USA, and we have only ourselves and the politicians to blame for destroying our manufacturing.
