Engineered Retaining Wall

We’re looking to build a large retaining wall (15’+ high, at least 100’ long) to reclaim some usable space from a slope below our house. Does anyone know of a company that does this type of work? The local landscaping companies won’t touch a project like this requiring engineering and permits. Thanks!

Do you have an engineers drawings already? Are you looking at a poured wall, or ecology block? I have contacts depending on what you need.

Thanks for the replies, and I’m sorry for my delayed response. I’ve been out of town for a bit. I’m. It necessarily tied to concrete or ecology block. Really whatever is most economical while still achieving the desired effect. Access to the project site is a concern, as I’m sure a lot of fill will be needed and getting it behind the wall may pose a problem.

I’d reach out to James Ashley-Cole, PE in Olympia. I’ve used him for years. Retaining walls are not all that hard to design. What matters is the installation of the wall and to make sure that the backfill is installed properly with drainage co side rations.
Getting material over a wall isn’t tough, they make slingers that can chuck fill 150’. We have one for sale if you want t it. :) https://www.machinerytrader.com/listing ... -equipment |

I figured the fill would have to involve a conveyor of some sort. Does anyone know of companies that do this type of work after I’ve gotten it engineered? |
