Hey everyone, My aunt and uncle are moving from WA State at the end of April, and I've been helping them sell off some of their extra vehicles. My uncle has a 1917 Dodge Brothers Touring car. Very very cool antique. It's been kept in his garage but it hasn't been started in several years, but I don't imagine it would be too difficult to get it running again. He has a bunch of extra parts to go with it, including a spare engine, wooden spoke wheels, etc. I'm going to be taking some pics of his car. I know Craigslist and Offerup are definitely not the place to generate interest for this type of car....it takes a special collector and not a bunch of scammers & flakes that CL/Offerup seem to attract. Does anyone here on the forum have any pointers on who to contact to reach out to trying to sell this type of car, or maybe even a car collector here on Waguns? I was planning on posting it here on the forum once I get pics and more info on it. Any help/pointers would be appreciated! Thanks. -Jerrod |

Hi Jerrod: A good place to show the car would be at one of the events at the Puyallup fairgrounds. I believe the website Racejunk may also have a section to advertise it for a reasonable price. Thanks: James |

Might be worth getting it running. If not too involved it would increase value and possibly interest Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

Google 1917 Dodge Touring for sale, and you will see several sites that advertise cars for owners, and some of them have asking prices. |

Facebook has several obscure cars for sale groups. You might check there. |

Even though it isnt the best place do sell it doesnt hurt to put an add on craigslist or offerup. There are other avenues like the puyallup and monroe old car swap meets(the first monroe one is already canceled) even hanging up flyers wouldnt hurt. Various facebook groups might a good place. Unfortunately the classic car market isnt as strong as it was in the 1970's, so dont be too suprised if it is a hard sell. If i wasnt broke i'd be interested since i've been kinda looking. |

I agree with the Facebook group but try to find one specifically for that car or that era or an outside forum. Bringatrailer.com and look into eBay, car guys still look there for odd stuff. |

Ask Doug LeMay. He has the largest car collection in Washington State. https://lemaymarymount.org/about/ |
