Anyone have any recommendations for a dog trainer in the Olympia area? Preferably someone that will not only teach the dog, but teach me as well. Have a 6 month old GSD with some reactivity issues that I did not have to deal with, with my previous GSD.

Please note.
A good dog trainer doesn’t teach the dog. They teach the owner how to communicate with their dog. Body and verbal cues. Lol

A friend of the family owns SideKick Dog Training. http://sidekickdogtraining.com/They are up in Port Orchard but Amanda is known to travel for the right Dog/Owner combo.

I think Dana at Black Hammer Arms (aka Dreadi here) may have a lead for you. I think he mentioned a place in Rochester that does a lot of work with GSDs during my last visit to him. Maybe try PM'ing him.
BTW, good looking dog in your avatar, I have one that looks almost identical.
