Ehhh I get merging but at same time having worked for in the past, and now working for a company that has sister companies I can tell you that Sister does not mean SAME. Regardless of ownership, a separate company is a separate company, different GM's, staff, etc. Last company I worked at had 4 sister companies, not a single one was anything like the others. Company I am at now has 2 companies, even under the same roof, but completely separate business models and staff, only common thing is the owner of both. They do not even use the same Accounting software let alone joined books.

An owner or parent company declaring bankruptcy obviously affect things. But Reloading Valley's failures I do not think should be linked and used against Xtreme, I take a bit of issue with that. Sort of like if your actual Sister/brother is a complete POS and people start looking/treating you like you are one because of it.

I have never had a problem working directly with Xtremebullets.com, I only order what they show in stock and it ships quickly every time.

While I generally agree with what you've said, the first post in this thread is about an issue with X-Treme, and it has the same email from the same person (Brenda) that we've received regarding our Reloading Valley orders. So in this case, I think the sisters are conjoined.

Yeah, I'm not sure I'm a fan of the merge either. The xtremebullets orders were shipped to the OP, but ReloadingValley screwed us all more consistently. It might be the same shipping office but it doesn't seem to be the same extreme lack of customer concern.

Well, we (myself included) were posting about both companies in the original X-Treme thread because of the obvious connection between the two . . . so I think the merge is just eliminating the redundant Reloading Valley threads.

My suspicion is that Xtreme is doing a better job of fulfilling orders, whereas Reloading Valley just shit the bed, which is why I started a separate review. Hopefully Xtreme continues, as they've been good to work with over the past years.

If all you jack wagons just paid Wes in advance, he would probably be happy to make sure you got your order of Extreme bullets when he does his bulk orders.

Just order several thousand at a time to make it worth his while dealing with retail customers in house rather than by website.

Last thing they want to do is screw over the guy ordering a half million at a time. Several times a year.

Quit whining, and get local pick up, or pay him to ship to you.

And, support the best reloading specialist in Washington State.

Problem solved. I can get back to my regularly scheduled program now.

You all are welcome.

See? This is why I posted the separate review, so "jackwagons" don't conflate the two. My Xtreme order came through just fine. Reloading Valley is the problem.

Occasionally, but not very often.

My source is reliable but take this as opinion.

Howell owns and operates Freedom Munitions.

X-Treme Bullets and Clearwater Bullet were started to keep Freedom stocked and also to operate independently to the reloading crowd.

Lewis-Clark Ammunition was started to provide casings for Freedom Munitions.

Twin River Contract Reloading was started originally to produce “store brand” ammo for anyone who wanted to buy a lot of it.

Ammo Valley was started as a way to peddle Freedom factory seconds.

Reloading Valley was spun off of Ammo Valley as a discount component company to peddle pulls that weren’t good enough to sell as Ammo Valley brand.

AmmoLoad Worldwide manufactures the high production commercial reloading equipment used by many cartridge companies, Freedom being one.

Howell Machine does most of the fab work for AmmoLoad Worldwide and other things outside the firearms industry.

Every single one cross pollinates with the other. The Howell companies nearly quadrupled in size around 2012-13 at the peak of the market.

Then the bottom fell out and they’re a bit over leveraged at this point. They may make it out the other side with a restructure. And less “diversification of assets and intellectual property”.... the companies are currently split between the Lewiston Idaho area and Nevada, and that’s another pickle in the sauce when it comes to Ch 11 chaos and subsequent technical difficulties.

Here’s more reading for you.

So, it's a clusterfuck.
