I had broken a molar. I don't like going to the Dentist, but had to get this looked at.
Called up Jacy's office and set an appointment. They sent me paperwork via email so I didn't have to sit in the office 30 minutes before my appointment filling out paperwork.
It has been 10+ years since I was seen by a Dentist. Jacy didn't harp on me for that.
He and his staff Xray'd me and explained what they were doing at every step. Made me feel relaxed.
Then out comes the drill. Yeah, he had to do some work. It was absolutely painless. Jacy made sure of it. For that I am appreciative.
Two thumbs up for sure. If you have some tooth pain but are fearful, Jacy and his staff will take care of you. No worries there.

Yep, he's my Dentist. Great Dentist an all around good guy. Staff is excellent, I love my hygienist there too.

Big +1. Going to the dentist has actually become a pleasure since I started going to Nelson Family Dentistry (aka DGM33!). stompah wrote: Jacy didn't harp on me for that. I never get "harped on" for anything, and after having some dentists/hygienists in the past lecture me for various things, I really appreciate that. I used to have a feeling of dread before I went to the dentist, knowing I was going to get bitched at . . . but no more. They DO take the time to explain things to me, which I also really appreciate, and that has caused me to start doing better on my own (flossing daily, hitting those 'missed spots' with the Sonicare, etc.). It's all positive reinforcement, not negative, and I love that. I've had several different hygienists, and they have all been fantastic. Highly recommend, if you are anywhere even remotely close to Renton.

I did run into some white trash in the parking lot last time I was there, though . . . .

My wife and I have appointments in August. Best dentist we have ever been to for dental work. The staff are excellent.

I know a guy that drove 4,000 miles across the country and got his teeth cleaned there.

Fairwood.
If you head towards IKEA and go up the hill (East) for 3 miles. On your left near a Shakeys Pizza.
And I am a happy customer! Excellent care! I would recommend without reservations.
He runs a good tight group of really nice folks. Not just a number. He knows how to shoot the breeze on or off work.

5 stars from me as well! Jacy just filled the last of my cavities - 5 teeth worked on today alone. I too had a split molar repaired a while back. I always seem to get a tooth problem right before heading out of town on a trip, and Jacy has been very accommodating.

Thanks for all the kind words, guys. Always great to have like-minded individuals in the chair, and it's nice to know we're doing something right! But here's the deal, if you want to come see us, you've got to call and say you know me through WaGuns or that you know me personally. Otherwise, my team will tell you we're not taking new patients. http://www.jacynelsondds.com
