A single shot .22 is not great for self defense. Plus you have to unfold this thing in order to use it, so it won’t be fast to deploy. There are many other better options for a small pistol. Ruger’s LCP Max looks like a good option for deep carry.

Yep.

Plus, don’t carry something that you don’t practice a lot with.

I swore I'd never buy another Kel-Tec after the piece of garbage P3AT I owned, but I'd break that oath and buy one of those again before I bought a LifeCard. There are so many better options for deep concealed carry than a folding single-shot rimfire contraption.

Keltec sub2000 with a supressor is the best for home defense. Cheap and easy to use and a joy to train with and capacity, holy shit, talk about capacity. I've used it with 33, 50 and 100 round mags.

My sub2000 is one of my cheapest guns (msrp was $300 at the time) but it's accurate as hell, and fun to shoot and I loved it so much I got 2 of them. Everything about it is great. Only change I'd make is a foldable or collapsible stock but for $300 it's amazing.
