Was there today for a transfer. No fee on the transfer. Very friendly staff with a good inventory of interesting and useful stuff.
Veteran owned business. And NO transfer fee! So I didn't feel bad buying a few things since I saved $ on transfers. Good customer relations, and they had some walk in business while I was there.

totally agree! I'm really impressed with Mike_P, and his employees there are top notch. Their prices on many items are very near the online prices--I'd much rather work with them!

I've been there once for a transfer, and while I was at it I bought a gun from SSG too. The strategy works! Win-win! Good people.

Was there today checking on an order. They're waiting for a lot of deliveries that were delayed due to snow but are always nice to talk to and helpful!

I finally made it down today. They are running a sale on suppressors. Dealer cost +$60 for the month of February. Great staff and good selection of guns.

I stopped in while in the area today and was very happy with the customer service I received. As others have stated, good conversation, good pricing, good selection and very happy to order in what you need. I'm excited to go back!

Two FREE transfers there last week. Saved me at least $50 in transfer fees. Awesome service. I bought some merch to show appreciation. Very friendly and helpful staff, saw them answering lots of questions for customers. Good inventory, free coffee.
Keep up the great service to the gun community!

I've sent some of our ladies from our classes over to South Sound Guns and they've each been very favorably impressed with the staff in the store. Which is hard to find--most gun stores treat women horribly.
The transfers I've done there lately have been without a glitch.
And mike_p has been fantastic in helping diagnose and fix a cycling problem. Glad to purchase recommended products with this kind of service.

I have done a few transfers there and have purchased a pistol from their inventory, mags and accessories for misc firearms from them and even had them special order a rifle for me. Very happy with each experience thus far and they are my local "go to" shop.

Seriously, I’ve been around many gun shops over the years. They are 45 min from me but they are my new #1 preferred shop for transfers and purchases! They are friendly, can just talk gun bullshit or have a very serious conversation about technical and legal aspects. All my questions have been answered and I’ve felt very compfortable there. I’m sad to say several other local shops I tried out this last year didn’t make the cut and I won’t using those other shops anymore.
SSG absolutely rock and huge shout out to Robin. He knows his stuff!

Having just moved to the south Sound a few months ago, I have found that SSG's is by FAR the best gun shop in this area. Cool guys working there, excellent prices on ammo, and an interesting selection of guns. I first went there for a transfer, then I started buying my ammunition there, and today I bought a pistol caliber carbine from them.
