This Group was shot @ 285 yards. My rifle is zeroed -0- @ 300 yards. I zero all my hunting rifles @ 300 yards. I shoot MOA reticle scopes. So if I’m zeroed at 300 yards. I hold just under a deers back at 400 yards. I hold 2 MOA down @ 100, which puts me 1” high and if I hold 2 MOA down @ 200 it puts me 1” low. So it a no brainer to 400 on quick shots.

Shooting off a concrete bench, bipod, soft rear bag. Of course some credit goes to Berger bullets and Lapua SP brass. :cheers2:

And maybe a small amount of credit to the shooter, as well.

For those who are curious about the real world barrel life of a 6.5 Creedmoor. Very few people will ever shoot out a Creedmoor barrel.

Here are some groups shot at 100 and 300 yards. I wrote the round count on each target. The .0 group was shot at 100, All are 3 shot groups. The rifle is still shooting 1” @ 300 yards with 2150 rounds on the barrel. To get to 2150 rounds costs about $2600.00 in powder, brass, bullets and primers.

Usually I say "real men shoot 5-round groups," but I'm afraid that it would be interpreted as a challenge and there's no way I could compete. :ROFLMAO:

Damned impressive.

Took another 6.5 CM out yesterday and today. Yesterday I tried some factory 147gr Hornady white box match. Then today I shot some of my hand loaded 135gr Berger’s @ 300yards. Over the years the 135gr Berger Hunters have proven to be a solid performer through 8 or so different 6.5 Creedmoor’s. Super forgiving on seating depth. As one can see in the photo’s bellow. I shot two groups today at 300 yards with the 135 Berger. One had a base to ogive measurement of 2.211 the other was seated .100 deeper. With a base to ogive of 2.111.

Factory ammo perform well for factory fodder. To end the day I confirmed my ballistic app to the real world at 615 yards on a 8” plate. With the factory Hornady 147gr white box.

Kudos to “Rifles Only”. I sent them a pic of the rifle and asked if they could match the “Red” for a suppressor cover. They nailed it spot on. This cover is called “The Skinny”.

I like it. I had a buddy show up at the range yesterday while I was shooting. He walked up, looked at the rifle and said. “ I gotta tell you, you own some of the ugliest rifles I’ve ever seen” and walked away. I just smiled. Not everything is for everyone.

Still shot tight.

Had to dial 2-1/2 MOA left windage at 615 yards but she shot tight.

Bring on the Rockchucks! Just need a little warmer weather over here.
