F5 Manufacturing is selling their version of a can cannon can launcher AR upper for $150. The deal is: if you order 4 launchers they ship a fifth free. Knocks the price down to $120 each for 5. The original from xproducts [spits] sell for $400 iirc. Blanks are available for sale on their website also. F5 is evidently the manufacturer for xproducts [spits] and they also sell the drum mags for various modern sporting arms. https://f5mfg.com/product/demo-custom-product-1/Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I’d buy one if someone wants to put this together.

At that price I'd be in for sure. What do they mean by short or long though?

IIRC the long is 2"+ longer, evidently that's the standard length for xproducts (they can GFT) Can Cannon. Some say the longer tube gives a bit more range, others say it's just to better cover longer projectiles (think Coors "aluminum bottle" for instance). Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Are these things legit? Anyone used one before? What do you do just add a bcg and ch and start launching? Could it launch a can filled with tannerite? Or cement?

I have shot the X-Products Can Cannon(apparently the same thing). Yes they are legit. This looks like it needs a dust cover too, but yes, BCG and a CH and g2g. Not sure about launching cement or tannerite, but you should be able to if you so desired. I am a buyer if we get this small group buy together. Just saying...

Tannerite, eh? I don’t think it would do anything exciting, unless of course the shock is enough to set it off as you launch it.....
That would be exciting, for sure.

I've never really wanted one of these, but that price is hard to ignore. I'm in.
What's the legal mumbo jumbo on these? A quick google-fu pulled an article from 2015 that basically says if you mount it on a rifle lower it's an SBR. However, if you mount it on a pistol lower then you're good to go with no tax stamp. Is that still accurate/current?

Just make sure you dont have a stock, otherwise you better be filing a tax stamp.
