After living in New England for so many years, can't imagine eating lobstah' that I don't drop into the pot myself while it's still moving... or going to Abbotts in Noank. |

When I went to Maine in 1990 to visit my sister I went to the supermarket and bought three 3+ pound live lobsters for $3.99/lb for dinner. They were huge! Her brother in law said "You got ripped off, we never pay more than $1.99!" But WA has better salmon and crab. |

Don't get me started! I lived in CT on Long Island Sound, and we had our own lobster pots. A New England lobster with claws!!!  Shark used to be a great seafood item, but no more. Just like the crazie make all gun owners look bad, the "shark fin" people ruined it for shark steaks. The few screw it up for the rest of us for food, fishing, prospecting, and guns. |
