And looks identical to one of the Anti-Gravity kits which normally cost $80 - so that might be a pretty smoking deal.

My two XP-10 units were delivered today. They're partially charged, so I'm topping them off. So far, no fires or explosions.

The instructions say that they'll hold a charge for about six months. I'm going to add a recurring Google calendar reminder so that I recharge them every six months.

I tried charging my iPhone with it: No problem.

I tried charging my Dell laptop with it: The computer said it wasn't charging; I don't know if it's not giving enough juice, or if there's some other issue. Maybe it's getting some power, I'm not sure. Regardless, this isn't a big issue for me since my laptop rarely leaves the house.

So far so good. thumbsup

Yup.

It has started every time since New Years, but it has turned over slowly a couple of times. So I knew it was coming, but I thought I could stretch it out a little more, and I felt more confident doing that with the XP-10 in the trunk.

And sure enough, it worked out okay today. The battery died at home, and the XP-10 started it right up. Then I replaced the battery anyhow. :thumbsup2:

My first six-month reminder popped up today, giving me some advance notice that I had to charge by July 1st . . . so realistically it's been about 5.5 months.

The batteries have an LED indicator of charge level. Both of my units showed 4 out of 5 lights, indicating that they are still mostly charged. One of them has been used once to jump the car.

I charged them anyhow . . . back in the cars until December. :thumbsup2:

Thanks for the mid-term review, I was still on the fence with this. Not sure what size motor you have, but my mustang has a big v8 and needs a ton of cracking amps to start up. If you still have lots of juice left over I'm sure it'll crank my motor no problem.
Time to look into getting one of these! And great idea with setting a calendar reminder to charge up every 6 months!
