MADrtcw and I were out in the boonies at Greenwater yesterday, shooting alongside a gentleman who was with his wife and grandkids. Come time to leave, his full-size pickup truck was dead. I popped on the XP-10, he turned the key and they were headed home.

Okay. I'm convinced this is the best pack out there. But prices have gone up. $150-$180 for this unit now. I figured the prices would go down over time. If someone finds a good price on this XP-10 again, please post back. I'll track this thread. In the mean time I just bought the Beatit 600A Peak 14000mAh on Amazon for $50. It won't start my F350 w/7.3 liter diesel, but it gets good reviews, and will work for my Subaru, my Moto Guzzis and my cell phone. Hopefully it will be a good hand me down when I get the XP-10. And it's cheap. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DGJHUYA/ref=pe_825000_114660910_TE_item

Well, it's been four years since I bought two of these. They've both been used multiple times, not just for our own vehicles but also to jump start other people's cars, and I've used mine as a battery pack when camping and during power outages. I gave both of them their semi-annual charging today . . . and then discovered that one of them is swollen. I guess that's that . . . time to go find a replacement, and see if there's something better out there, four years later.

I know this has turned into more of a review thread than a "good deal" thread . . . lol. Anyhow, I started with two of the XP-10 battery packs. One of them started swelling up in 2019 (see post above), and I replaced it with a Rugged Geek RG1000. Since 2019, my second XP-10 and the Rugged Geek have both worked well, doing the occasional jump start as well as providing charge capability for camping, power outages, etc. Today I found that the second XP-10 was also swelling. So, it's outta here, and I just ordered an Audew 2000A battery pack to replace it. The saga continues....
