I'm not sure if this is a good deal or not, but M1 Carbines are getting hard to find so I thought I'd throw this out there.

Starting tomorrow (Tuesday June 8th) at 6:00 a.m. Pacific time, MidwayUSA is offering a bunch of M1 Carbines for sale:
https://www.midwayusa.com/us-military-s ... 1-carbines

Multiple manufacturers, configurations and conditions. Yes, they accept C&R licenses but you need to upload when you do your checkout. Prices range from $1150 to $2500.

Note they don't come with mags. And good USGI mags are getting expensive.

May the odds be ever in your favor...but that's a lot of cheese for reimported beaters that you can't inspect beforehand.

Anyone else pick one up? Took me about 5 tries to get one. I got the very good of the S’G’ version. Wanted a Rockola but man, I think everyone else did too. Probably paid too much but I’ll never sell it. Good inheritance for my kids.

All sold out now. Cheapest ammo I can find is freedom munitions for $.50 a round. I need some decent mags. Those seem harder to find.

I snagged one of the IBM’s. I was hoping for a Rocola, but they didn’t have the setup in the price range I was hoping for.

That's exactly what I was thinking. At least the CMP ones had been headspace checked etc.

The mag thing bothers me. But I’ll only buy once and cry once.

Now all of the ads by flippers will appear on the gun sites in a week or two. Next to the arm brace ads.

I was tempted to order one but decided that I would rarely shoot it and didn’t want a safe queen.
