At the time of posting, I see #16 Taurus TX22's for sale at BigDaddyUnlimited.com; $239.99 plus flat rate shipping. I love mine and I know how hard they are to find at the moment.

I have owned mine a little over a year and have had zero problems in its 2-3k round life. Haven't had any ammo issues either; not a single FTF or FTE; It eats bulk wax-coated 22lr and other cheap ammo better than any other semi-auto rimfire pistol I have tried. I couldn't recommend it more. The aluminum slide is lightweight and very easy to actuate, while holding up just as well as any steel slide on any of my centerfire guns. Not meant to be a tac-driver but I shoot it better than any other pistol I own. You will like it; every time I let someone at the rifle/revolver club try it out, I get another offer to sell.
I just looked at the picture posted by the guy in the other forum. After 3000 cheap bulk-pack, I see none of that wear on my own. |
