Just wanted to throw it out there, Cabels in Lacey has had Ammo on the shelves for the last week everyday. The manager told me they only stock it in the morning due to people fighting over it and shoving others into shelves. The last week they’ve had .223/5.56 cans and boxes (5 box limit) 10.99 for the cheap stuff, 400 round cans for 230-250$ and 150 round boxes for 75$, 9mm 5box limit 13.99 - 14.99 a box, 45 acp, 10mm, 308, 22 8$ a pack for the small packs, and more. If you need Ammo get there just before they open. No reason to pay insane prices when it’s on the shelves. I saw people on here today selling the ammo they got from Cabelas today for 50-150$ mark up. Hope this helps people out.

I think the key to finding ammunition in a retail store is either knowing someone who works there or just luck in visiting the store as ammo is being placed on the shelf. As you mention, it is placed on the shelf at that store prior to opening (thanks for the tip). Last Sunday, I stopped at four, large outdoor stores between Lacey and Federal Way. I was looking for .22 - 9mm - .45acp - .223 - and reloading supplies... I literally did not see a single round of the calibers I listed. Only some calibers like .222 Remington and shotgun shells.
On a more positive note, I have had good luck finding a variety of gunpowders choices at Pinto's in Renton...

Yeah, there sure is a lot of Herter's ammo for sale . . . . I was wondering why all that Herter's was showing up for sale and where it was coming from. I didn't know that was a Cabelas brand.

They told me they don’t get a lot of reloading supplies normally let alone now, however they did get some powders in recently and have slowly had bullets show up. Got a couple boxes of 1000 berrys 124 grain 9mm over the past couple weeks along with powder. They had 40,45,380 and some other 9mm bullets berrys/extreme. Had some small pistol primers yesterday as well.

I was just in BassPro in Tacoma and the shelves were bare but one employee said they stock early Wed, however there is a limit to what you can buy.

For anyone living up North, Skagit arms had 150 RD boxes of .223 for 100 bucks. I think it was Winchester. You’re allowed 4. They had most calibers on the shelf and on pallets near the pistol cases. However, I didn’t see any 9 mm. I sure hope the prices come back to earth in 2021..

ben8792 wrote: Have been looking for the 9mm ammo but it's just hard to find this days Depends on how much you want to spend. Easy to pick up 9mm at around $600 a case or less on Waguns. Getting it for less than $450 a case depends a lot on luck and usually its reduced to building slowly by hitting Cabelas, Ass Pro, SW, sportco etc every day.

I have not visited the WaGuns.Org forum for a period of time. In true fashion, I see people gouging fellow forum members and shooters to make some $$. I Have bought and sold many firearm related items on this forum, but I have never gouged anyone for any reason.
