I remember a few years back when I was looking to adopt a dog, and looking at GSDs, I noticed a local organization that would snatch up GSDs and then rehome them but you had to apply for them (gatekeeping) and play by their bullshit rules.
Fuck that organization.
That being said, if this GSD was publicly posted, being the 1 year old female she is, she's probably accounted for.

We looked at adopting a GSD rescue. The service would only consider fenced yards. My HOA doesn't like fences.
I have never understood the no fence thing with HOA's? Was just talking to someone about this yesterday. Only positive aspect to no fences I can see is for playing like sports, smear the queer, tag, hide & go seek, snipe hunting etc. Maybe the HOA is a big supporter of the local Smear the Queer leagues not quite sure?

When dogs sit at shelters such as the humane society for prolonged periods, it's a usual indicator that the dog has issues that most people do not want to take on. Those issues usually aren't revealed until a person comes to visit the dog.

Everett Pound had some really interesting descriptions.
Escape artist, will jump over or dig under a 6 foot fence. Best with a home without other dogs, cats, or children. Needs constant supervision so he doesn't tear up and chew on furniture.

Yup. Dealt with a place like that. Asked for $50 to apply and they take 20 apps per dog. Eat a tiny dick. I love my GSD.
