150rd packs of M193 are $100
20rd packs of M855 are $13

223 hunting loads i think were $22 but not sure.

They’ve got 10mm for i think $25 (50rds) and 308 was $27.

a few more calibers i barely glanced at as well.

Still loads of the 223 and 5.56 left.

For the reloading guys, tons of new brass and die sets in as well. I missed the primers and powder sadly

Was there yesterday and grabbed 10 boxes of the winchester 5.56. Got to checkout and the clerk asked if I was paying with Cabelas card, when I said no she then informed me I could only buy 5 boxes.

Well what this tells you is what most are seeing. The supply is starting to come back. The kinks in the supply chain are sorting themselves out a little.
NOW if the prices would just come more back to earth!

So you’re telling me the m193 is $0.66 per round but the m855 is $0.65 per round.

Makes sense. Cabelas. :facepalm2:

Oh yeah supply is definitely coming back around. I took one look at that price though and walked away. The less we buy ammo at double its normal price, the less they’ll raise it on us, hopefully anyways. Especially since they had the 150rd herters packs of 223 few weeks ago, but those were still about $.50/rd. Once we go back to “its cheaper to buy it than reload it” prices for range fodder i’ll be happy again lol

Almost grabbed some of the Hornady Superformance .308 they had. Had the ELD-X bullet at 168gr. But, I think it was more of a target load than a performance / hunting load.

Oh well.

If I can’t find what I’m looking for locally then I may see if they have it but they ARE NOT my 1st choice. Fukk BassPro!!!

The ELD-X IS the hunting projectile. That's what I killed my 6x6 elk with (150gr, in 7mm-08).

Welp, I guess it can be an official oh well.

I do have 200 rounds of their Outfitter GMX 150gr .308 loading. I will have to see how well that does if I decide to use .308 in the future.

I switched from a 7mm Rem Mag to a compact 7mm-08 a couple years ago. The new rifle is 6" shorter and 1.5 lbs lighter, and I love it! One shot with the Precision Hunter took down that bull better than any elk I ever shot with the 7 Mag. Of course, he was only about 75 yards-quartering away. Bullet hit left midsection and went all the way through both lungs and the right shoulder, where the bullet was stopped by the hide.
