I have mixed feelings about this.

She went to a foreign country and advocated and actively supported war on the US and its citizens. Did she cause any US deaths or casualties?
While I believe in redemption, I also believe that there is a point at which there is no coming back. Doesn't matter how sorry you are. But imagine a place so bad, that you'd rather have 20 years in prison that being where you are now. I figure that's a just punishment. She was an adult. She made her bed. |
