Re: Regarding the abundance of laws

Are these problems involving an ever increasing number of laws not apparent to most people? Not apparent to the actual representatives of We the People?

The ideas by Selador and Heinlein et al are such a clear improvement - why haven't any of these ideas made it into the laws?

Read more Heinlein and you’ll have the answer to that.

I've a collection of every Heinlein book in hardcover, and several soft covers to give to people who are new to Heinlein.

And I am still frustrated with the lack of long-term vision in our species. Idealism leads to disappointment. High expectations does the same.

Dan360 I've had nearly the same experience. We were the ones shooting shotguns and this lady crossed a fence line, and came a long way to scold us for a 100% legal activity. Never seen her before in my life! Turns out she was a guest house sitter. WTAF? She even said she would call the sheriff. Pretty sure she didn't.

And your analysis is spot on.
