The only place I saw it was on BBC. It probably doesn't support the narrative that this kind of thing ONLY happens in the US.

It was on NPR, along with the line 'this kind of thing rarely happens in the former Soviet Union because of very good (or strong?) gun laws'. Something along those lines.

They’re trying to think of ways of spinning it so it’s our fault.

i.e., we are a bad influence or the gun was from here, etc.

One of the worst school shootings in the world in modern times, and ranks probably one of the worst in the USA for casualties.

* In a nation with heavy restrictions on gun access
* Done with a common 12 gauge, and what appears to be low brass (bird shot)

More evidence that gun control simply does not work, and travesty can be done with the most common and simple of weapons - meaning you can ban every "assault weapon" and make no advancements on "safety."
