Who's the guy who refurbishes binoculars?

Sun Aug 12, 2018 12:42 pm

We just found my old pair of 7x50 binoculars, and the eye pieces are no longer aligned. If it's possible to fix them that'd be great and someone on here used to advertise that they fixed them as a hobby. Anyone remember who that was?

They're Tasco Offshore 54's with built-in range finder and compass. The left lens seems to be "higher" than the right, there's a double image.

Maybe if you used both hands instead of one when 'bird watching' ?

Now to the OP's question.

For the cost of what a decent new pair of binos costs. I would think repair is probably not worth it unless you can get a warranty repair.
Their are some absolutely excellent binoculars out there for only a few hundred.
