Sound Transit, and then opined (in their Beta-male falsettos or Alpha Female croaking voices):
"Gee! Car tabs are too expensive!"

Now these folks have collected enough signatures to put the Carbon Tax initiative on the ballot.

I have MONEY on them saying: "Oh Gee! Gas has gone up 15 - 20¢ per gallon" (estimated)

I wonder when the people who have jobs are going to say enough and stop voting these idiots in. From what I see, it will be awhile.

I grew up in Detroit.
When there were were still people with jobs living there.
See what happened to that city.
We left during the 1967 race riots for Mercer Island.

Is there actually any plan for what the money will be used for? A trend i've noticed by SSC is that they just want to tax everything with no real plan for the money, which shows you their motives.

Hah, there is no PLAN....

All Taxes, alll Funds collected get "Ear Marked" for a specific project or problem when the issue is sold to the public as the reason for the Tax hike.

Aaaaand that the last time these funds or collected "revenue" (fancy word for Tax) is connected to any project.

It ALL goes in the General Fund.

Then the Fookers spend it as they wish.....Taxpayer be damned.

Well, except those with a butt fetish, like TW. :wink05: :ROFLMAO:

Should have rephrased it.
No race riots on Mercer Island during that time.
Black people were simply not allowed other than Bill Russel and two other families.
The Mercer Island Police stopped them on I-90 and sent them back across the bridge.

This is as dumb as Puget Sound Energy sending me info asking me if I just voluntarily want to pay more....

Under the guise of assuaging my carbon footprint guit, if I sent them between $1-& $5 more per so many kilowatts used, they, and I, could pretend it came from wind or solar..... :ROFLMAO:

As far as what to do with money....they get dumber and dumber....

Was just reading where Federal Way is now buying back a parcel of land from a developer who hadn't started building a fancy hotel yet. It seems they had until June 1st of this year.

Over $2 million dollars...

The article went on to say where they would need to take the funds from.

WTF?

Why didn't you take the $2+ million & park it earning interest, and have it at the ready if needed, with a little bonus to cover expenses?

Nope, as usual, the money was spent as soon as they heard they might be getting it.....even though the buy back clause was n there.
