Our church had some missionaries at a church in China back in the 90's, early 2000's.
Secret police took most of the Chinese congregation, and many haven't been heard from since.

A couple of my co-workers were throwing a fit last night because President Trump was going to Russian to meet with Putin. I asked them if they felt the same about President Trump going to China? The stupid look on their faces was enough of an answer.
