Not sure why they don't advertise things like this. I mean, it could be a real draw. "Tourists attempting to visit Space Needle attacked by homeless man" http://komonews.com/news/local/tourists-attempting-to-visit-space-needle-attacked-by-homeless-manQuote: The report describes the man as delusional. It said he thought one of the family members was the TV star Ellen Degeneres and that he was going to marry her, and that’s why he attacked the father. From another article: Quote: The police report states that the homeless man said he believed the tourist was a 14-year-old boy who was having relations with a woman he plans to marry. They were doing it to make him jealous. That is why he attacked him. http://mynorthwest.com/1020180/homeless-man-tent-attacks-tourist/?

I hate going to Seattle. Their homeless junkie weirdo crazy bum problem is second only to NYC and LA, which are MUCH larger cities. Individuals shooting up, begging, and sleeping on the sidewalks. Like something you would expect to see in a third world shithole. Best tourist activities in Seattle are Museum of Flight, Ballard Locks, and Argosy Harbor Tour. Seattle Center is a waste of time. Last time we went, almost stepped in bum shit on the steps in the parking garage. I remote in to my Seattle clients, only go down there when I absolutely have to.

" Best tourist activities in Seattle are Museum of Flight, Ballard Locks, and Argosy Harbor Tour." I grew up in Ballard and used to ride my bike to the locks. Was a safe place to play back then. Now you have to be very careful where you walk because of all the discarded needles and risk getting your car broken into. I consider 145th street the northern border of a vast wasteland. " Like something you would expect to see in a third world shithole " Exactly!

So funny, when I first moved to Washington we lived in Ballard 94-95. I would ride my bike to discovery park via the locks, mess around in fremount, and ride to golden gardens. I Couldn't imagine letting my kid do that today. We we rolled down those steppes at the locks all we had to look out for was Geese Poop.

I read those articles earlier today, that's just nuts.
And the part where the 1 tent at the Space Needle grew into a bunch, is crazy.
They ran them out of isolated areas, and from under freeways, but are now hesitant to step in at tourist destination...priceless.
The same newsfeeds that sent me these, also mentioned that King County & the City of Seattle are about put out a Mobil "Shooting Site" for addicts....
Since when to we make it easy & safe to break the law?
Do they get arrested for possession of heroin?
For being under the influence?
What's next, special traffic lanes so you can drive under the influence without being bothered as well?
Before someone says they're addicts & can't help themselves, alcohol is an addiction.
So is sex, food, etc., ...
Or so they say.....

The Seattle underground is probably full of bums, bum shit, and discarded hypodermic needles.

Man did the libs screw things up. this has nothing to do with morals. The homeless problem, drug addiction, welfare dependence, destroying marriage, destroying families, gender confusion, restrictive taxes, regulation and laws, indoctrination of students, anti-second amendment rhetoric, anti-first amendment protests, acceptance of a violent Antifa and Jihadis, anti-police attitude, redefining of rape, racism and sexism and the propaganda they call news nowadays.....all tie to one master plan: the implementation of a Communist State call me a tin-foiler, but I calls 'em as I sees 'em

Man did the libs screw things up. A conservative state? This state has been in the "D" camp since forever. Warren G Magnuson , D- WA, owned this state for 36 years. Seattle's last Republican mayor IIRC was Braman and he left office in '69

I got here in '73.
Scoop Jackson was a senator until '83
Up until '81, the D's and R's rotated through the governor's mansion. In comes Booth Gardner and the D's have held onto the position ever since.
You must have lived in a different part of Washington. I went to school at Mercer Island. Avowed communists taught there and were administrators (see also: Ann Dunham and Anarchy Alley) By the time I went through, admittedly, the leftists weren't so stridently vocal as they were in the sixties; as their hair greyed their vigor waned. But still...
I think maybe it is just a relative perception. The left has moved a lot further left.
