any hoo... this new story maybe deserves to be in a HOLYfrack thread, rather than a WTF thread: Maine skydiving instructor loses parachute while doing a tandem dive. The student landed safely. THe story is poorly written, but the gist is that they were in a tandem dive and separated. My guess is that he failed to engage whatever linkage is used to connect the skydivers.
