Boeing didn't make the engines or the propellers. Just like they don't make the jet engines today.

Problems included catastrophic failures of propellers (Not Boeing), failures of propeller pitch control leading to overspeed incidents, problems related to the poor thermal design of the engine (Not Boeing and more likely pilot error), and aerodynamic problems arising from design constraints imposed by the engine's thermal problems. (Not Boeing) Its service record was marred by a high incidence of in-flight emergencies and hull-loss accidents related to those issues. The propellers were the subject of Airworthiness Directives in 1955, 1957, and 1958. (Not Boeing)

If the whole thing called Boeing, then it’s Boeing.
Boeing hires shitty contractors who make shitty engines and propellers? It’s Boeing’s responsibility.
When my Chevy fails, I don’t blame Honda.

You really don't understand the Aircraft/Aerospace business, do you?

Boeing sells a "hull" The engines are made my Pratt, GE, etc.

The seats aren't made by Boeing, and Boeing doesn't decide how much leg room you get either.

It's not a Car, you cannot make that comparison and be taken seriously, it's not an educated opinion, it's a personal one based on your own bias.

Do you feel the same way about Airbus? It works the same way with them. Oh, and there'a a reason Russian Airlines buy Boeing Airplanes.

They are reliable, unlike the Russian domestic versions.

Oh, please cut this legal crap!
Boeing puts its name on the whole thing, so it doesn’t matter who made what.
It IS Boeing.

It does matter.
I suppose the other option would be anything made by a Russian Commercial aircraft company, but their safety record isn't so good.

https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2021/7/8 ... R%20states.

I think you are safer in this Country and on a Domestically produced aircraft regardless of your feelings about Boeing. They are hiring if you want a good job with benefits, but you would have to wear the face diaper.

You’re sounding really ignorant here.

If you buy a new home, and the furnace doesn’t work, do you blame the builder, or who made the furnace?

He has an issue with Boeing Steve, it really isn't about anything else. He hates Unions and the Company.

I do.
WA would be a beautiful place without stinky giants.
MS, Expedia, Amazon, Boeing… those are the biggest sponsors of progressives and magnets for all kind of shitheads.

I have a problem with some unions, too, but without Boeing, you’d have never moved here.

Your statements aren’t just about unions, they’re ignorant observations of something you know nothing about, and think a Wikipedia link somehow gives credence to your argument.

I have another example for you...

The Takata Airbag recall, the largest and most complex safety recall in U.S. history.

It affected 19 different automakers.

Do you blame the 19 automakers that recalled them, or Takata?

Like Amazon, Microsoft, Starbucks, etc? You do understand how an economy works, right?

Socialism doesn't work, big business has their drawbacks too, but the Seattle area would be a big stinky ghost town without them.

Were you here in 1972 when Seattle was shutting down because of the SST shutdown?

I was.

Be careful what you wish for.....and you would still be wearing a face diaper to hold a job.

It beats living in a Camper on someone else's land and being on the Government dole.

BTW, who did Boeing blame for all those fuckups?

Uh oh, we can't have that kind of reason here.

It's Honda, Acura, and all the rests fault. It's their name on the product!

Please explain to me your reasoning for that statement? I'm all ears while you explain why the biggest employer's in the State are responsible for the "Big stinky ghost town effect"

I already said that: they are biggest sponsors of America’s enemies. Without their donations where would all those commies be?
