I’m mot sure how you do “rescue” or “Uber/Lyft type operations” with a one-person aircraft, though.
The aircraft is also a drone and can be either piloted remotely or autonomously. I was picturing it being remotely piloted up to a climber stuck on a mountainside... either the climber already has the ring to put a hook through, or there is a harness hanging from the cable.
The narrator mentioned that it can carry a 250 pound person with considerable safety margin. I wasn't satisfied with the data he supplied at several points in the 8 minute clip. He was vague regarding hard numbers. Another option for a rescue might be a 125 pound pilot rescuing a 125 pound rescuee. I would bet that rescues would generally be remote piloted. 2019 is right around the corner. It'll be interesting to see these get put into many different hands and see what people do with them.

I have enjoyed watching Habu build some cool projects and was thinking "Nice build, man" then the vid got to 3:40 and the acronym WTAF? was put to use in my mind. I don't care of that trick works for 1000 people for 20 years, there is no way that I can overcome my brainwashing in to what should and what should not be done with those precious devices called bearings.

They may as well be speaking Chinese. I don't quite understand most of the lingo. I suppose they'll feel the same way if I hopped on channel 19 and threw down some trucker lingo.
