The models are way cool though. Edit: I also love the Spitfire (and the P-51, my favorite) - I built many scale models, balsa planes, RC versions over the years _________________ Why does the Penguin in Batman sound like a duck? update on my iron maiden spitfire build, welp Eddie is now about finished up except for painting his teeth and tongue, cockpits near finished, all details in panel installed and shadow washes applied to give depth. Soon we will be enclosing him into a Spitfire Mk II fuselage and then we will be gluing, puttying, and sanding before masking off and painting the plane. I used Archer brand, tiny decal pupils for the actual center of eyes and before that a tiny brush the base black and to add the whites to eyes. I totally updated the cockpit with 3d gauges and details. Goggles go on his flying cap next.
Just for reference so you can see how this figure looked before i started building and painting him. This is 1/32 scale. not bigger about 1" tall if he was standing You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
