Toyota wasn't using lithium in all the cars. Just the Prius c, for a while. Now the prime has it as well. And iirc there is a V model that had one. I haven't even honestly look to see what the new Camry hybrid the new Corolla hybrid blah blah blah are all using for batteries. Haven't replaced many newer batteries, mainly just gen 1 and 2 and a much smaller number of gen 3 and a couple Vs. No c, no Highlander, only a couple early Camry hybrids, mostly with collision damage. All nmh There's a couple more now with lithium of some sort or another. Including Tesla. And it's still super volatile. They've changed the substrate substantially to help reduce that. But.... Must priuseseses on the road are still nhm. Thankfully the first gen is effectively defunct. Going extinct, slowly but surely. The second gen is getting long in the tooth, but there's millions of them. Li ion, li po, li Fe, will be the norm soon. If they can increase efficiency and efficacy of hydrogen, that may make a bigger splash for a while. I'm not being on it.

Thanks for the info. I'm a few years behind.
Hydrogen will be a game changer if the engineering can come through. As I understand it, the bottleneck right now is storing enough high pressure hydrogen on a vehicle safely. The 3000 - 4500 PSI bottles are heavy, and kind of tough to convince people to surround themselves with a highly volatile gas under high pressure in traffic.

I tell you one thing, compared to the rest of the country there are a fuck ton of Tesla cars around here. Thick with them.

Ill not split hairs with you. The first Arby's reference was to Bobs burgers and Arbys. Both ads are the same guy. Bobs burgers has NOTHING to do with "Ving" who yells meat related phrases at me during commercials. Nice try at a save tho!

My specific response was to TW's reference, and, as I explained, was to the Voice Actor, as referenced...no 'save', intended, as I don't care... Just responded in case others were confused, too. TW got what I meant I'm into voice work, so that's the only reason I noticed. Plus, I won $ the first time I heard it, when I said "That's Ving Rhames !!", and a buddy said 'no way'
