Fixed the intermittent 60 cycle hum from my tube amp when connected to the TV and cable box. Was driving me fucking crazy.
Bought a digital-analog TOS link optical adapter on Ebay for $9, then had to buy a $9 AC USB adapter to power it. It's probably a bad cable ground or a bad cable box creating a ground loop, but it works fine now.
Thank goodness. Tired of getting up from the leather sofa and twiddling wires only to have the problem appear again in 10 minutes. $18, I got off cheap. Hahahaha
Could have exchanged the cable box or had a guy come out, but didn't want to wait in line, lose my pre recording settings, and the ones they send out are usually dipshits.

I never find money. Last time I did it was 1995 behing a liquor store - a crumbled up $1 someone used as toilet paper!
But today in Capitol Mall found a $10 bill! It's the little things.

Just found out the USAF F-22 Demo Team is performing at the Fort Worth, TX air show in mid-October. Now planning to go. Have never seen an F-22 in the air before so super excited. Taking the family to enjoy the Sound of Freedom. https://www.allianceairshow.com/https://www.acc.af.mil/Home/Aerial-Events/F-22A-Demo-Team/Been going to air shows since a teenager in the early 80's. Very cool to see aviation development range from T-38 and SR-71 demos in those days progress through F-15/F-16 generation and now to F-22/F-35 generation fighters. We were planning to see the F-35 Demo at the air show in Waco this April but got rained out. So this more than makes up for that. In the future, looking forward to the next air show at Dyess AFB in Abilene, TX to see B-1B performances as well.

Sixty-eight dollars and twenty-five cents. That's how much it cost to renew the tabs on my 2019 BMW.
Gotta love not being in the RTA anymore!

Yeah, I decided to take the money for tabs that I WOULD have paid if I still lived in King Co. and give it to some smart-ass for a .22 RF rifle... That way I knew he had money to pay for his truck tabs!
