Moving to Idaho had me a little nervous. The wife doesn't like cold either but this year the winter has been almost like the Puget Sound weather. So I guess you would say I dodged the bullet this year. We did get more snow than you guys did but most of it was gone later in the day or at least by lunch time. She made me take her to work only one time if I remember right. The house is on gas which is much cheaper than electricity also. I'll put up with the weather just to get away from that fucked up state. You do know that it probably will hit the point of no return and forever be a cess pool dontcha?

Went to Cabela's this morning to see if they had any powder or primers. They had 2 kinds of powder I wanted but could only buy 1. They only had SR primers, about the only kind I didn't need. While in line had a good conversation with a great guy in front of me. He asked what kind of primers I needed. After finding out Cabela's didn't have any of the ones I needed he invited me to follow him to his house where he ended up giving me almost all the primers I was wanting (SP, LP, LR, LRM). The only thing he didn't have that I needed was SPM. He wouldn't take my money so I ended up with 5,600 primers (some are to share with my hunting partner) for 2 elk summer sausages!!! What a great guy!!!!!

Sorry to keep carrying on about the new tow vehicle....
We just towed our new 2021 Ford F350 DRW with the Solitude 310GK-R 40 miles to the GD sanctioned RV repair place for minor warranty work with our new B&W Companion hitch.
OMG, I never knew the trailer was back there for about 10 min and caught myself doing 70 MPH. That kinda scared me because I'm typically tow at 60 mPH.
We were on Hwy 93, for those that know "The Valley" along Flathead lake. While going down hills I could hear and feel the exhaust brake kick in.
We can't wait for our May trip to CO for our son's college graduation. Wife has been logging a lot of hours in the new truck too so she can give me some relief towing! 700 miles now in 9 day.

Bacon jerky is a thing.
How the hell did I not know about that?!
I gotta talk to stewart's and see if they can make some.
If the pre-packaged Jack Link's is this good, I can only imagine what real slow smoked bacon jerky would taste like..

Thanks for that bit of information Rick, my wife has the same mentality regarding snow and cold weather. My solution is to snowbird from Az or Nv in a winter home then drive up to Idaho in the spring for fun on the water. Hopefully I am capable of doing this before my body tells me WTF MAN.

LYNNWOOD, Wash. (KOMO) — An elderly man stabbed a female employee multiple times Monday morning, but the attack was interrupted when another woman intervened and walloped the man with a shovel, deputies said.
