It's just plain wrong to use one when you don't own it or need it. You will be taking parking from someone who really needs it just for convenience.

This. Usually I fall into the "Everybody can go screw" category, but if somebody is more seriously disabled, as in physically, making them hobble across however long it takes to get to the door when your perfectly fine legs can get you there isn`t cool.

Fuck you guys.
I'll go to the Dr. and get my own placard!
Then, when one of you wants a ride to the store, I'll make sure to drop you off at the entrance by the street and I'll drive up to the front.

Improper use of a handicapped plate or placard is $250 fine ($200 mandatory), boot until tow, plus tow and storage fees.

Those citizen patrol codgers seem to really put in the effort giving out the handicapped violations.
If someone was going to match the plate to the placard to the driver, it would be one of those guys.
(Used to see them all the time around Lynnwood giving out tickets, haven't seen them out in at least 3 years)

The fine is $450 now. They added $200 to the original $250 on Nov 1, 2017.

It's also that amount if you park without a placard in a Handicapoed Spot, or, if legal, you park in the cross-hatched area.

And anybody can call you in, not just the store owner.

Seattle & Tacoma have stings now, since they've made it so lucrative...

Since I don't agree with parking in a handicapped spot without a placard, I just park on the sidewalk or the firelane instead.

If you’re a Washington State resident you can only renew online every other time your license or ID expires.

I love living in the sticks.

I've got to do that this month.

I live in the sticks too. But gots to drive all the way into Everett to get it.

Going for the enhanced this year. Couldn't see getting the normal one this year, then having to get the "better" one, next year...

I’ve had pretty good luck (quick) at the DOL behind that Harbor Freight.

Proud of Kitty lately....

Altho he looks like a cute little kitty, he's a hard core killer! He's single 'pawedly' attempting to rid the yard of bunnies.... and rats, and mice --- awesome. In the last two weeks, he's had a confirmed 5 bunny kills, 3 rats, 5 mice and 1 mole.... thats just the ones that I've found the parts of. He's cat #4 since I've moved in, and he by far the best killer of them all! He has RAZOR claws like none I've seen - all he has to do is brush your arm.... you don't feel anything.... and five minutes later you have five streams of blood formed... and thats just when you're playing with him --- god help you if he's pissed or spooked - you'll be bleeding for hours. I've learned to really respect them and not piss him off. Took him a while to warm up and be loveable (I've had him since last Nov), but he's really coming around lately - still doesn't purr, can feel him trying, but no sound - and just the meekest of meows. Damn near the perfect kitty --- happy with food, water and bed in the garage, happy to deep sleep in the house - good for 16+ hours without a litter box --- huge bonus!

This is what he leaves me as proof....

Smaller bunnies, its usually just a foot....

For some reason he leaves me the 'faces' of the rats and mice and the ass end.... not sure why.
