Nailed the interview. Turns out one of the references I gave actually wound up working there, so he could tell them I`m a boss ass mf in person.
Caught him on the way out the door and we chatted for a minute, he says I`ve got nothing to worry about. Hell yeah!

Got a call from Taurus. My 1911s have apparently shipped or arrived. Gun store closed, but will check tomorrow...
Pretty stoked...
(I already traded one of the 1911s off and will have to deliver to the new owner, and will keep one).

After 10.5 years of working for the county I finally got a better shift. No more driving Snohomish to Maple Valley and then Enumclaw to Kirkland for my work weeks. I’m now a floater and get to choose what stations I want to work at on my work weeks.
This week I’m 30 minutes from home and in the door by 4:30. This is huge for my family.
