We got our asphalt driveway resealed today. The owner, Jason, and his crew did a fantastic job, filling any cracks before hand. Then coating. Local company, not fly-by-night resealers. Interesting story, he started his business at 12 years old (He's 36 now) and custom built his own tar truck for the job.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been working with a couple contractors to turn this:  Into this:  Even though I did some of the work, a lot of it was done by a contractor friend of mine and a mason we work with. Still have some work to do. Hang the TV, paint the mantle, paint the room / trim, upgrade the fan and buy some furniture.

That looks so much better!
Windows on either side of the fireplace is a nice touch. Classic
Just getting rid of the paint line at ceiling level is a huge improvement but running the stone all the way up makes the room look bigger. Having that change in depth makes all the difference
What are you putting under the windows?

We finally, after 3 weeks, got all the upstairs floors complete. No Damn Carpet left! Made my month!
Well, ok the carpet guy is coming to carpet the stairs, that's it.

Cut my waguns bonus walnut slab to size. Making an under shelf unit for my indoor work bench. Started sanding and hit lead bird shot. Debating if I should leave it or dig it out. Some history there.
My old inside workbench became my desk in the office at my new digs.
