Unbelievable how a person has to micro-manage supposedly grown adults!

Have been looking forward to seeing our granddaughter for her 3rd B-Day party for weeks. Dreaded dizziness has reared its ugly head again so I can’t make it to Bonney Lake today…

Ordered an engine overhaul kit last week. Should have been here a few days ago but didn't. Since then I've been trying to track it down
The manufacturer says it was picked up, actually got someone today to confirm that it was signed for. He checked the loading dock to make sure it wasn't still there too
Finally got through all the carrier's layers of customer service and talked to someone at the actual shipping terminal today. They say that their driver signed for it but the truck showed up at the terminal empty
RS: "Well, what do you think happened to it?"
Them: "We didn't get anything from the manufacturer, the truck came back empty"
RS: "But your driver signed for it, why would he sign for an empty truck? Maybe you should talk to the driver."
Them: "I think you're going to have to call the seller and order another one"
The shippers terminal is only 5.5 miles away from the manufacturer. How does a 230# pallet of truck parts go missing in 5.5 miles?

RocketScott wrote: Them: "I think you're going to have to call the seller and order another one" The company you ordered from has the contract with the carrier. That company needs to take up the issue with the carrier, recover the money, and ship you a new batch, ideally with another company. Unfortunately, you're just the recipient, and they have no contract with you on this matter.

Probably harder/costlier to find a new truck driver, than a new pallet of parts, these days...

I've been in contact with the carrier since I was going to pick the pallet up at their terminal in Fife. We both agreed that would be easier on everyone
It's just shocking to me that nobody seems at all concerned that they sent a driver to pick up a pallet of parts worth over $1k, signed for it, then came back with an empty truck
Oh Well...

Oh Well... Like I said. Easier to replace the pallet than the driver.
