I’ll be there this weekend for my sons regatta at Port Madison. Sounds like there will be limited public viewing since they will be a ways out to sea, so I’m going to tour the island a bit.

I reached out to the gun range there to see if I could get a tour (used my credentials as President of our local club)… what else to do there?

The downtown is cool, and there are a number of nice parks.
Some nice little places to eat and shops to checkout. I lived there many years ago.

Yeah, there’s a cool pub downtown on Eagle Harbor…sit outside if you can.

Food’s okay, nothing great, but fish & chips and a beer outside with a good view & good company works.

There’s a Chef that had popular restaurants in Seattle, that has moved to Bainbridge and opened a couple of popular restaurants there, named Brendan McGill.

Others have opened quite a few new restaurants since we were last there, so you can check for those as well.

Clearwater casino?
Just across the bridge on the North end of the island
Close to Port Madison
If your driving up 3 through Poulsbo you’ll drive right past it

I've done downtown once last year when I was at a Regatta at Eagle Harbor, T&G was pretty cool, but most of the shops were still closed cause of the 'Vid. I'll explore it a more. Casino DEFINATELY sounds like it will happen. We are driving up and back each day, so just need some stuff to keep me occupied from 8am-6pm..ish...

I personally enjoy the town of Poulsbo, just across the bridge if you're on the north end.
We like to camp at Fay-Bainbridge park once a year and always take a trip into Poulsbo.
Cafe Luna is my oldest boy's favorite restaurant and I personally love the Scandinavian bakery.

You could always swing by the P.T. Y and check out the Tranny in the pool....

I built a house on Hidden Cove in 2009. Just looked it up on Zillow, current value is quite a bit more than when I built it...

Anyway, the neighbor has a deck gun in his front yard. I bet if you could find some rounds for it he'd let you fire it off

Not sure of your commute times back and forth but the casino also has a very nice hotel and decent food from deli, cafe, sports bar to “fine dining” and sushi
Haven’t been there for a year, and every thing was on lockdown with limited seating
But was still served excellent food
Just a thought…

It’s about 90 min door to door. Very driveable. Plus, wife is having shoulder surgery tomorrow so I’d like to be there for her at night and in the AM.

I thought she already had it done? Hope it goes well and she has a smooth recovery.
