They launch a missile barrage at civilian areas all over Ukraine, Ukraine scrambles to defend itself, and a missile lands in Poland. For those who haven't seen this documentary I highly recommend it. It was made a few years ago and covers the history of modern Ukraine and the roots of what is currently going on that started in World War 2. The historical facts and actions of these parties are not in dispute, and there is video evidence of the actors involved doing the actions they are accused of.
Here's a link to the doc. It's called Ukraine on Fire, it was made by Oliver Stone a few years ago. Yeah he's a little weird on some stuff but the doc is well done.
