Don't worry, be happy folks. It won't have any effect on the State. Hell the ferry system is already cutting way back on their sailings, island and peninsula retail and grocery stores aren't getting their deliveries, Seattle school district canceled 142 bus routes, crime was already super low in Seattle so nothing to worry about there, and there's nothing major going on in the medical world, so losing a bunch of Dr.'s, nurses, EMT's, first responders and other medical workers is no big deal. Nope folks, everything is peachy folks, nothing to see here, IT'S GONNA BE OK SEZ JAY.

So.... if we are canning 7.6% of state workers, does that mean all state related taxes go down by that much??? If that is the case, then lets announce 14 jabs to flatten the curve, and go from there.

Fire fighters (because all the paid firefighters are also EMTs) Department of Corrections DSHS... including the guards at the Special Committment Center... the place that houses civilly committed Sexually Violent Predators State ferries The juvenile detention facilities. Those also include the counselors, medical staff, administrative Private EMS Every hospital, urgent care, nursing home, at home care givers Seattle since their Mayor implemented the same mandate in the city. So SPD, SFD, the jail. |
