That sounds a bit like typical government over-reach.
Since we made this mess let's see if we can find someone else to pin blame on so we don't stay in the spot light for our own incompetence.

Maybe the FTC people should return to Econ 101 but then again they were trained in socialism so they really have no clue how markets work.

A ship late last week sat in a berth for two days (3 shifts) before we could even take one can off.

Apparently there were items on board that did not match the manifest, so Customs put a full stop on it.

Fun times.

Belief in manmade global warming depends on acting as if the laws of physics are suspended and we are living in special time in which the climate is unchanging apart from the hand of man. In a sense we actually are living in a special time relative to the last 3 million years, which has been an ice age. The special time we live in is an interglacial period — a temporary respite in the ice age.

I took this pic from the pier in Huntington Beach CA on Monday December 6th, I could count 16 ships in the fog. The gal I was with lives there and she said when it’s clear you can count upwards of 30-40 going way farther out. This is just south of Long Beach.

US Logistics Staggering --
FedEx, as example, is stumbling to the point that it's international service is on its knees already. Sam Faddis talks about it here -- but there is even much more going on at FedEx than this lets on.

For instance, anyone who was in contact with someone who tested positive is also getting grounded. And depending what country they are in at the time, quarantine can be 14 days stuck in the room. Other couriers such as UPS also getting hit.

2022 is 1984.
https://andmagazine.com/talk/2022/01/02 ... -disaster/

FedEx right now has 30-40 pilots test positive every day. They cannot possibly continue to operate with that level of shortfall in staffing. Other airlines are experiencing the same kind of issue.

It gets worse. Both the Transportation Security Administration and the Federal Aviation Administration are experiencing the same issues for the same reasons. That means the security measures in place at airports are suffering. That means air traffic control personnel are working extra hours and tower crews are shorthanded.
