Here in Ryderwood, the deer are protected. They wander all over town. Right now the Doe's are having little ones. I've had one girl go past my front window with twins. Another Doe went by with a single fawn. Last year one Doe had triplets !!!
I have a briefcase bigger. than either one of then. They sure are cute to see. In a natural setting you don't get to see then very often.
Sorry no pictures - They get your attention just looking. I forget to take pictures.

Neighbor found one in some tall grass in the backyard. Ma must've left it to go eat. It's absolutely bonkers how they just sit there when you're less than 10ft from them, but I guess it's worked out for them.

I’ve seen many over the years while I’ve been out shed antler hunting. Some just about scared the shit out of me…

Mmmmm. I know they carry no scent when they're Fawns...its a nature protective thing. What will they smell like on the BBQ?

Sometimes triplets are a tag-along fawn, mother is dead, and a mother with milk will pick him/her up. The odds of triplets are rather high in deer, 1 out of 5 may have triplets.
We had triplets and mom out back here 2 years ago. Last fall, one turned out to be a nice 2x2 buck. Hoping he continues to grow and stick around. ;)

So how do you hunt them in Ryderwood and can you sue the town for damages the deer do to your property?
