He's overrated anyway. Leaving Red Bull was a huge mistake. He would have been outdone by Max at some point anyway.
He's a cool guy, but yeah he's not F1 material. Going to Renault was a bad decision. He'd do well in endurance racing though
At least with Renault, the team was building the car around him and his skill set. Then he up and left all of a sudden. He's being outclassed by the younger talent. Plus he parties way too hard and too much. It was said he spent the night before the Miami GP partying too hard and getting shitfaced drunk. He lacks the focus to be taken seriously by other more prestigious teams. Endurance racing could be his thing. I could also see him participating in Nascar.

Wow that was a pretty damn good race. The new car design has really made f1 exciting again. How the hell these guys can race that close and hard is beyond me. Zhou would have likely been dead just a few years ago
