And remember that F2, Indy nor NASCAR use tire blankets. So shouldn't be much of a problem to wean F1 teams and drivers off of them.

This time more than just Max!

And if the announcer said just one more time "it wasn't intentional" I would have killed my TV.

I hate MB with a passion. Yeah I'm leaving Ferrari as I am convinced they are either run by 1st Graders or monkeys but that leaves me to root for the likes of Ocon and Max to win it all. Truly LeClerc has skills and desire and to get skewered like that today, sucks. Sainz did great, could have used 25 more HP as usual.

And I just read about Vettel. Holy shit MB is lucky.......

Kinda went unspoken after my "......"

Not sure what to say, but Hungary WAS an interesting watch today. In fact I was waiting for...........I dunno, crash, death, penalty, ducks on the track, ??? when Alonzo was doing some work in front of Hamilton for a decent amount of laps.

I got what you were saying. It's too bad it looks like MB will do anything to win and the f1 officials look like they are bought. Bottas is too good a driver to have accidentally caused the crash today and Hamilton was to blame last race. Meaningless penalties for MB

Indeed.

MB always can make more power when they want. Maybe they are great engineers.

Bottas did his job Sunday. He took out or damaged Hamilton's competition. Horner's statement about Bottas, regarding the crash, "does a good job taking us out" pretty much says it all. https://www.formula1.com/en/latest/arti ... x1Ja4.html
Ocon was the surprise winner, to them, as I think MB had not counted on Hamilton being held up for so long by Alonso. I believe they expected Hamilton to breeze by Alonso and Vettel to the the win.
Now RB potentially has 2 damaged engines and both cars will most likely have to take 10 place grid penalties in the next race at Spa. That effectively eliminates them from a win and/or good points there. Not to mention the damage to the championships or the cost cap. MB took a big hit when Russell hit Bottas, at Imola, and it cost MB serious development money. This evens the monetary playing field for both teams depending on the damage to car 77 which has a 5 grid spot penalty for Spa.

Yeah that’s crap that Bottas did that. Should be a one race penalty or something punitive.
