Ukrainian Swamp Sausage. Some history/back story and impending doom.
Makes you wonder if all of the "Russia, Russia, RUSSIA!" rhetoric has been leading up to something larger...

"If we have to shift US military assets to the European theater and weaken our position in the Pacific, do you really think China would pass up this golden opportunity to make a “play” in their backyard?"

Ammo is not haz mat. Ammo is class 1.4, Cartridges, Small Arms, ORM-D.

Driver is guilty of not having placards up, not having proper paperwork, not securing the load, and whatever reason the cops pulled him over to begin with.

Story is sensationalized by "OMG - EXPLOSIVES ! HAZARDOUS MATERIALS !"

“We don’t rule out first-use nuclear action,” said Wicker, the number two-ranking member on the Senate Armed Services Committee.

“Military action could mean that we stand off with our ships in the Black Sea and we rain destruction on Russian military capability,” he said. “I would not rule that out. I would not rule out American troops on the ground."

"Sen. Roger Wicker (R-MS) said on Fox News Channel that the United States would not rule out using nuclear weapons against the Russians." icon_eek

"Americans are hoarding cash in record numbers, but inflation is causing the value of savings to drop."
https://pandemic.news/2021-12-08-americ ... -drop.html
Quote:
The situation is being compounded by the fact that annual inflation rates in the country have been rising steadily since January, jumping from 1.4 percent at the beginning of the year to 5 percent in August and hitting 6.1 percent in October, which is the highest level seen since 1990.

Although the overall U.S. savings rate is high, it is important to note that there is a deep inequality when it comes to who is saving money, with poorer Americans still spending nearly as much of their cash as they did before the pandemic – a situation that is unlikely to change any time soon as inflation continues to push the prices of many everyday goods, foods, rent and other necessities increasingly higher.

Seems like the real estate bubble is about to burst.

It may not be like the 2007-2008 bubble burst which was directly attributed to democrats handing out home loans to families that couldn't afford to make a payment on a house but it will swing downward again historically speaking.

I hope Barney Frank has the devil himself waiting to probe Barney with his hot member.

Another huge company to default on debt was the Lehman Brothers bank. It was not bailed out and was the biggest bankruptcy filing in US history, with a staggering $600 billion in assets. Evergrande has $300 billion in debt, meaning a collapse could pose big problems for economies like the collapse of Lehman heralded.

"They Russians" are using the same rationale that we used during the Cuban missile crisis. We didn’t want the Russians to have missiles in Cuba that could potentially hit our major cities within just a matter of a few minutes, and likewise the Russians don’t want missiles in Ukraine that could potentially hit their major cities within just a matter of a few minutes."

SWIFT vs. SPFS... the Sino-Russian security pact... Europe ready to trash the latest attempt to revive the Iran Nuke deal.

The Interview below is on the Soviet long range strategy. It begins with an introduction in German, but quickly switches to English after the first couple of minutes. Dave, Fabio and I are each broadcasting from a different continent.

In the United States an epidemic of some unidentified disease breaks out and spreads rapidly. It seems to affect port areas particularly, such as San Francisco, Boston, Charleston, Seattle, Norfolk and Philadelphia.

China hoards over half the world's grain, pushing up global prices.

“Less than 20% of the world's population has managed to stockpile more than half of the globe's maize and other grains, leading to steep price increases across the planet and dropping more countries into famine.”
